Terms & Conditions

These terms outline the rules, responsibilities, and limitations for services provided by Bali Safe Movers.

Summary

Bookings, access, pricing, liability, and claims are defined below. Please read carefully before scheduling a move.

By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Bali Safe Movers. “Customer”, “you”, or “your” refers to the person or entity booking services. “Services” refers to moving, packing, transport, and related offerings as agreed in a quote or order.

2. Services & Scope

Scope is limited to the items, locations, and dates stated in your confirmed booking.

Additional tasks or stops may incur extra charges and require written or recorded approval.

We reserve the right to decline unsafe, unlawful, or improperly prepared items.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are based on inventory, distance, access constraints, crew requirements, and insurance selections.

Pricing may change if actual conditions differ from the information provided at booking.

All prices exclude government taxes and third‑party fees unless stated otherwise.

4. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellations

Bookings are confirmed upon written confirmation and, where applicable, a deposit.

Rescheduling is subject to availability; rate adjustments may apply.

Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled time may forfeit deposits and incur minimum call‑out fees.

5. Access & Preparation

Customer must secure parking, building permissions, elevator bookings, and access for vehicles.

Walkways must be clear; fragile items should be identified and properly packed unless packing is included.

Alley width, stairs, and distance carries may affect timing and pricing.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Provide accurate information and notify us of changes before move day.

Ensure presence of an authorized representative to sign documents and confirm item conditions.

Remove valuables, cash, jewelry, passports, and sensitive documents from the shipment.

7. Handling, Exclusions & Limitations

We do not transport hazardous materials, perishable goods, live animals, or illegal items.

Self‑packed items may be excluded from damage coverage where internal condition cannot be verified.

Pre‑existing damage, inherent vice, and normal wear are excluded from liability.

8. Insurance & Liability

Insurance options may be offered based on declared value. Coverage is subject to policy terms.

Our liability is limited to the lesser of repair cost, replacement cost, or declared value, subject to caps.

Any coverage requires proper documentation, photos, and timely reporting.

9. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic disruptions, extreme weather, road closures, strikes, accidents, government actions, or other force majeure events.

10. Payment Terms

Payment is due as specified in the quote or at completion of services unless agreed otherwise.

Late payments may incur administrative or interest charges where permitted by law.

We may suspend services for non‑payment or suspected fraud.

11. Claims, Inspection & Disputes

Report loss or damage in writing within 48 hours of delivery and include photos and a description.

We may inspect items and packaging before resolving a claim.

Disputes will first be addressed through good‑faith negotiation before escalation.

12. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. Operational updates and service communications are part of our service and may be sent to you during your booking.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Indonesia. Courts or tribunals within the relevant jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material updates will be noted by revising the “Last updated” date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
